hey guys waiting here from HT type videos today I want to show you how to get your work back if you were working on a project with Google Docs and your paper got erased as long as the file is still there for example just like this this is the paper that got erased you can get it back Im going to show you how to do that so first of all open the document you were working on some of my Google Docs opening it up this was supposed to be my final paper and its gone and nothing is here so what youre gonna do so like you might have tried like ctrl Z which ctrl Z doesnt work if youve I closed the project and reopened it but all hope isnt lost what youre gonna do is go to file and go down to see revision history and in the upper right corner right here this is your revision history and so it shows today excuse me December 2nd which doesnt really help us too much it does kind of help us theres a little bit of the paper right there but if we go down the bottom go to show more details det

Recover a deleted form Go to the Deleted forms tab. This tab serves as your recycle bin. On the form you want to delete, select More options in the lower right corner of the form tile, and then click Restore. To see your recovered form, go to your All forms tab.
Open Chrome Task Manager (press Shift+Esc) Find the tab that contained the text you have lost (search by name), make a note of the Process ID. Open Windows Task Manager (press Ctrl+Shift+Esc) Go to the details tab and find the PID that matches your Process ID. Right click that Process and click Create Dump File
View or revert to earlier versions of Docs, Sheets, and Slides files In Drive, open your file. Click File Version history. See version history. Click a timestamp to see a previous version of the file. Below the timestamp, youll see: (Optional) To revert to this version, click Restore this version.
Tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and open the Recycle bin. Check your deleted text messages. Long tap the message you want to retrieve. Select Restore at the bottom and check the same in your primary inbox.
Often times you can press ctrl + z to undo your previous action. Also, Frank, ctrl + x is cut and ctrl + c is copy.
View past activity On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Drive app. Next to the file you want to check, tap More . Tap Details activity. Scroll down until you see Activity.
Do any of the following: Undo the last action: Choose Edit Undo (from the Edit menu at the top of your screen), or press Command-Z on your keyboard. Redo the last action you undid: Choose Edit Redo, or press Command-Shift-Z.
Ctrl+Z brought back all of the paragraphs that had disappeared when I clicked on something accidently.
Press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen the last closed tab in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and most other browsers. Repeatedly press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen more than one recently closed tab. Additionally, you can restore all of the tabs from a previous session simultaneously in the History window of most browsers.
There are some possible reasons that cause the Google Docs unsaved changes to Drive Google Docs not saving issue: An incorrect or unstable network connection destroys the automatic save function. Temporary technical problems caused either by use-side network issues or bugs from Google Docs.
