Welcome to the Support Videos for Workload Automation video series. This video will demonstrate How to backup and restore specific database tables in the Control-M Server Database. Under certain circumstances it may be necessary to be able to backup or restore specific database tables in the Control-M Server database. We recommend to always have a good full backup of the database before following the steps described in this video. First lets navigate to the ~\ctmserver\backupdb folder. First lets navigate to the ~\ctmserver\backupdb folder. The directory is currently empty. This directory is where the backup bcp utility will place its backup files. Before we start we need to shut down the Control-M Server and Configuration Agent. Now, we can use the ctmbackupbcp utility to backup the specific tables from the Control-M Server database. We need to specify the -n -N -R switches, and add the table names which we need to backup after the -T parameter. I am backing up the CMSAGPRM

Restore files Select the Recycle bin. If you want all of your files back, select Restore all items. Or, select only the files you want and click Restore.
Method 1: Recover Overwritten Files No Previous Versions Step 1: Search for System Restore. Step 2: Click on the outcome. Step 3: Choose the previous date you lost the data. Step 4: Follow the instructions given by the system to recover overwritten files.
How to recover overwritten files on a Windows PC Open Windows Explorer and open the folder that contained the overwritten file. From anywhere within the folder, right-click and select Properties. Select the Previous Versions tab. Look at the list of versions, each with a date, and look for the version you want.
On the Review tab, select Track Changes. In the Track Changes drop-down list, select one of the following: To track only the changes that you make to the document, select Just Mine. To track changes to the document made by all users, select For Everyone.
If you dont find the missing file in these locations, open Word, and select File Info Manage Document Recover Unsaved Documents.
These can be found via File, Open and clicking the Recover Unsaved Documents button found at the very bottom of the Recent File List. Open Word and select File, Options. In the Options dialog box select Save from the left hand menu. Note the AutoRecover files location.

Use the Undo feature The best and simplest thing to do is to undo the process if you mistakenly saved over a Word document. You can restore the Word document to an earlier version by pressing Ctrl + Z. There is also an Undo button on the top-left corner of the Word window, which you can use to revert unwanted changes.
How to recover Unsaved Word Document? In MS Word, click the File Tab in the upper left. Click Manage Document and select Recover Unsaved Documents from the drop-down list. Check for your missing file in the dialog box. Open the recovered Word document and click the Save As button in the top banner.
If you are using Windows 10, version 2004 or later, you can try the Windows File Recovery tool. Windows File Recovery is available from the Microsoft Store.
