okay so in this episode Im going to talk about something called a CSS reset sheet which is something I highly recommend you guys look into before starting any kind of website essentially what it is is when you start out a complete new website only a browsers are going to have some kind of default styling applied to all the elements on your website which you need to get rid of if you want a completely clean and controlled website now what I mean by that is I have created a dip box over here as an example and I have styled it so as you guys can see I did actually give them a dip box a width as a hundred percent a height as 80 pixels and I gave it a background color as black now if you take a look at it youll actually notice that even though I told it that I wanted it to be a hundred percent theres actually a margin going on on both the left and the right side and at the top which is something that is applied by a browser as a default when it comes to styling so in order to get rid of

The unset CSS keyword resets a property to its inherited value if the property naturally inherits from its parent, and to its initial value if not.
The unset keyword will first try to fall back to inherited property values, while revert will directly fall back to browser/custom stylesheet. As per MDN: The unset CSS keyword resets a property to its inherited value if it inherits from its parent, and to its initial value if not.

The goal of a reset stylesheet is to reduce browser inconsistencies in things like default line heights, margins and font sizes of headings, and so on.
“If you feel like those few inconsistencies justify setting everything to zero then having to specify the exact margin and padding of most elements in each situation, then do use a reset stylesheet,” Verschelde said.
The reset input type creates a button that resets the form to the default values. If the value attribute is present, the value of that attribute will be the text on the button. If not, the default wording on the reset button is “Reset”. The reset button brings the form back to it's initial, default state.

The difference between initial and revert is that the element will still have styling applied, just whatever value its parent uses. The difference from unset is that it will allow for inheriting properties that aren't usually inherited (e.g. border), while unset will reset those properties to the initial value; HTML.
To revert the styling of all the elements on a page just apply the . reset-style class directly on the element.
Normalizing maintains useful defaults over non-stylizing everything and it won't clutter your dev tools window. Moreover, Resetting is meant to strip all default browser styling on elements. For e.g. margins, paddings, font sizes of all elements are reset to be the same.
