hey guys today im going to show you how to use all my backuper to make a backup image file of your operating system and then restore it later when you decide you want to restore to a previous point in time okay so lets open all my backup obviously thats first step and then once thats open you can basically click new backup in the home screen or go to backup here and youll see a system backup option now youre gonna click on that and then here shows all your partitions on your c drive normally if you open windows explorer youll only see local disk c thats the one with the drive letter but here actually shows all your system disks system partitions on your local disk these two are hidden because they dont have drive letters and you cant see them normally if you only do partition backup you are only backing up this which is not enough for restoring your system later so im gonna back it up to okay so now select the disk that you want to backup to im just gonna use this empty dr

To restore your Amazon S3 data using the AWS Backup console: In the Backups pane, choose the recovery point ID of the resource. In the upper-right corner of the pane, choose Restore. (Alternatively, you can go to the backup vault, find the recovery point, and then click Actions then click Restore.)
On the Amazon EC2 console, on the Elastic Block Store menu, choose Snapshots. Search for the snapshot that you want to restore, and select it. Choose Actions, and then choose Create Volume. Create the new volume in the same Availability Zone as your EC2 instance.
You can deregister an AMI when you have finished using it. After you deregister an AMI, you can't use it to launch new instances. When you deregister an AMI, it doesn't affect any instances that you've already launched from the AMI or any snapshots created during the AMI creation process.
In the navigation pane, choose Protected resources and the Amazon EC2 resource ID that you want to restore. On the Resource details page, a list of recovery points for the selected resource ID is shown. To restore a resource, in the Backups pane, choose the radio button next to the recovery point ID of the resource.
Log into your Druva CloudRanger console and navigate to Resources > EC2. Navigate to the Backups tab and select the AMI that you wish to restore. On the backup details page, click Restore. Alternatively, you may select the AMI from the Backups page, and then click Restore to initiate the restore process.
It isn't possible to restore or recover a deleted or deregistered AMI. However, you can create a new, identical AMI using one of the following: Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) snapshots that were created as backups. Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances that were launched from the deleted AMI.
Click the Replications tab and select a replication from Incoming. Click the Recover icon. Select whether to recover the virtual machine with all the latest data, or to recover the virtual machine with the most recent data available on the target site.
Update AMI Navigate to AWS Console –> Services –> EC2 –> Auto Scaling –> Launch Configurations. Select a LC –> Copy launch configuration. Click Edit AMI. Click Create launch configuration.
