Restoring files from previous versions Right-click the file or folder, and then select Restore previous versions. Before restoring a previous version of a file or folder, select the previous version, and then click Open to view it to make sure its the version you want.
You can restore files from your trash before the 30-day time window. You can also permanently delete them to empty your trash. If you delete, restore, or permanently delete multiple files or folders at once, it might take time for you to notice the changes.
But apparently, permanently deleting all your files and other important data even in the Recycle Bin is not enough. It is not technically deleted. Although the operating system cant find it anymore, a copy of it is still accessible through your hard drive.
In a word, yes. When the Windows operating system deletes an item, it does not physically remove it from your storage media. Though you cant see or access the data, it can be recovered even after you empty the Recycle Bin.
