every time you save a document pages saves it as a new version as a result of it you can browse earlier versions save a copy of it or restore a document to an earlier version you can also copy and paste text and objects from these earlier versions to the current one lets see how we can do all of that [Music] to restore a previous version of a document you have to open it first we can use the same document as in the previous video and now choose revert from the file menu and here select browse all versions once you press it the window refreshes to show a thumbnail of the current version on the left and a stack of thumbnails of the previous versions on the right also a vertical timeline appears on the right side of the screen to view earlier versions click the sticks along the timeline or click the arrows next to the stack of document thumbnails after you find the one you need click on the thumbnail to view the version full size if you want to restore this version click restore below i
