Choose File New Finder Window, then open the Users folder. Press and hold the Option key while dragging the disk image icon for the deleted user into the Users folder, then enter an administrator name and password to proceed. The deleted users home folder is copied to the Users folder.
Click on the Trash Bin icon on your Mac to open it up. Search for the files you want to recover. Right-click on the selected files and click Put Back to recover deleted files on Mac from the Trash to their original locations.
Enter the administrator password you used when setting up Time Machine, then click Continue. Select a backup by date, then click Continue. Select the hard disk on your Mac that will receive the backup contents and click Restore. If your Mac has FileVault turned on, youll be asked to unlock the disk.
Shut down your Mac. Reboot your Mac and press and hold Command + R. At the macOS Recovery-Screen select a user, click on Next and enter the users password. Note: If you do not know the password click on Forgot all passwords and sign in with your Apple ID.
On the Mac running Configurator, in its device window, your other Mac should appear if you have the cables connected correctly. Select the Mac youre connected to, and then choose Actions Advanced Revive Device and click Revive.
In the admin center, go to the Users Deleted users page. On the Deleted users page, select the user that you want to restore, and then select Restore. On the Restore page, follow the instructions to set the password and select Restore.
