If you cant find a file on your computer or you accidently modified or deleted a file, you can restore it from a backup (if youre using Windows backup) or you can try to restore it from a previous version. Previous versions are copies of files and folders that Windows automatically saves as part of a restore point.
To recover missing or deleted content in Canvas: From within the relevant Canvas course, find the course ID in your browsers URL bar.Recover missing, deleted, or overwritten content in Canvas Press Enter . Click Restore next to the appropriate item(s). Click OK. Your item(s) should now be restored.
Single Object To restore a deleted object, such as a single user: Click the domain name in the navigation pane of the Active Directory Administrative Center. Double-click Deleted Objects in the management list. Right-click the object and then click Restore, or click Restore from the Tasks pane.
Follow these steps to access your deleted content: Open your Canvas course site. Select Home in your course navigation menu. You will then see a Restore Deleted Items page where you can select a restore button to recover the content.
First, launch the Active Directory Administrative Center. Once the console is open, look for a folder called Deleted Objects. Click on the Deleted Objects folder in the left pane, which will show a list of deleted objects. Find the object to recover, right-click on it and select Restore to complete the process.
Open Active Directory Administrative Center from the Start menu. In the left-pane, click the domain name and select the Deleted Objects container under it. For the scenario mentioned above, select the parent OU, HRDepartment, and click the Restore button in the right-pane.
