hi in this video were gonna talk about shadow Explorer software and what that does is its similar to the Windows previous versions which is not available in all versions of Windows and the windows previous versions what it does is it makes periodic I guess you could say backups of changed files on a periodic basis and you could actually specify how often thats done but like I said certain versions of Windows like the home editions dont have that feature enabled so youre kind of out of luck if you want to use it thats when you would normally go to you know right-click on a file properties and have the previous version tab right there and then you could restore open a restore file back from that so shadow Explorer is a program that does the same kind of thing it looks at your previous versions because that service does run in all versions of Windows whether you have the previous versions tab or not and so you could use this program to go back to older versions of files and restore
