Microsoft XPS Document Writer comes pre-installed on Windows 10 and Windows 11, just press Ctrl + P to print/save an XPS file.
How To Convert XPS Documents Open your XPS file in Able2Extract, or Able2Extract Pro for scanned XPS files. Select and highlight the content you need to convert. In the toolbar, click on the format icon you need to convert to (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, HTML, TXT, etc.) Save your file in the Save As dialogue box.
To do so, click on the File menu of a document or a file you want to print to . xps format and then click Print. A Print dialog box will be visible on your computer screen. From it choose Microsoft XPS Document Writer.
Where does Microsoft XPS Document Writer save to. The MXDW printer saves files in the Documents folder: C:\Users\user-name\Documents .
How to Open Microsoft XPS Document Writer Files Open the XPS Viewer first. Click the Start button, then All Programs and XPS Viewer in the menu. Go to File, then Open. Browse to find your file. Click Open to load it.
