Open Command Prompt. Type rstrui.exe in the window, and then press Enter. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the system restore.
Create a system restore point In the search box on the taskbar, type Create a restore point, and select it from the list of results. On the System Protection tab in System Properties, select Create. Type a description for the restore point, and then select Create OK.
In the Control Panel search box, type recovery. Select Recovery Open System Restore. In the Restore system files and settings box, select Next. Select the restore point that you want to use in the list of results, and then select Scan for affected programs.
To create automatic restore points during startup, you must enable System Restore, disable the restore point creation frequency option, and use Task Scheduler to create a task to automate the restore point process every time your computer starts.
