Items removed from your Deleted Items folder are recoverable for 30 days. Junk email is retained for 30 days before it is automatically deleted. If you don't see the deleted messages you want to recover, they have probably been permanently removed from the Deleted Items folder or Junk Email folder.
From the menu, click on the Trash option. Now you can see all the deleted photos in the folder. Select the photos you want to recover. Once you confirm the photos, click on the Restore option. All the photos will get back to Google Photos Library.
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app . At the top left, tap Menu . Tap Trash. Tap the letter or photo next to the messages you want to recover. At the top right, tap More . Tap Move to. Choose where you want to move the messages to, like your inbox.
Download a single photo back to your device Open any photo at Google Photos. Tap the 3-dot menu or swipe upwards. Choose Download. If the photo is already on your device, the option will not appear. On my Android device the photo is saved to DCIM/Restored and in Google Photos shown in Camera.

You will need to use Google's Mail Restore feature to recover permanently deleted emails from Gmail.
Learn when items are permanently deleted You won't be able to restore a photo if: You moved it to trash more than 60 days ago. You moved it to trash, then emptied your trash. You permanently deleted it from your trash.
You can: Restore data that was permanently deleted within the past 25 days. Select a date range to restore data that was deleted within that range. Check a user's Gmail inbox to confirm the data is restored.
From the menu, click on the Trash option. Now you can see all the deleted photos in the folder. Select the photos you want to recover. Once you confirm the photos, click on the Restore option. All the photos will get back to Google Photos Library.
Restore photos & videos On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app . At the bottom, tap Library Trash . Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore. At the bottom, tap Restore. The photo or video will be back: In your phone's gallery app. In your Google Photos library. In any albums it was in.
