While the final decision of how long you can stay is determined by Canada Border Services Agency when you enter, nearly everyone is granted the full 6 months allowed as a visitor. Leaving Canada while on implied status as a visitor has no negative impact on your status in Canada.
You must reply before the deadline, or your application will be refused. If you applied for the extension before your current study permit expires, you are allowed to continue to study even if your old study permit expires while you are waiting.
Restoration of status in 90 days If you lose your temporary status, you may apply for a restoration of status within 90 days of losing the status. However, you may not apply beyond 90 days.
Can I submit an unofficial final transcript when I apply for PGWP? As per IRCC instructions, you may provide an official transcript issued if available. Alternatively, you may also provide a transcript copy from the MITT website (i.e., an unofficial final transcript from the student portal).

Restoring your status as a student has a fee of $350. Foreign nationals applying for restoration have lost their status and authority to work or study. They may not continue to work or attend school until their status and authorization have been restored and a new work or study permit has been issued.
