Follow the below steps to know as to why downloaded images don't appear in gallery. On your phone, go to your file manager. Click on the More options or the three vertical dots. Go to Settings >> turn on the toggle for Show hidden files.
All you have to do is open the “Settings” and scroll down to find “cloud and accounts” or “backup and reset”, etc. This will fix your gallery pictures disappear problem and you will be able to get your pictures back.
On your Android phone or tablet, open Google Photos . At the bottom, tap Library Find the folder under Photos on device. If available, open your device folders to find your missing item. If you want your device folder items to appear in your Photos tab, you can back them up automatically.
If your photo is in trash for over 60 days, the photo may be permanently deleted. If you use another photo app or gallery, and delete photos there, you might delete your photo before Google Photos can back up your photo.
If you just deleted the photo, it may still be in your Trash Gallery. Trash or Recycle Bin will save your deleted photos & videos for 30 days. To get photos back in Gallery from Trash/Bin: Open Gallery > Right-click one photo and launch Recycle Bin on Samsung > View deleted photos and select to Restore.
If your photos are lost without your manual deletion then it means that there might be something wrong with your device. These problems could be Gallery on Android not working properly, update failure, phone jailbreak, malware infection, third-party software error, etc.
In this case, you can see if your photos are located in your backup. On your device, go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Backup and restore. Tap the Restore data option. Select the photos to be restored, and tap Restore.
Check Google Photos On many phones, this comes with sync enabled and so it is highly likely that your photos are available in this app. Open the Google Photos app on your phone, tap on the Menu button and then 'Trash'. Tap the photo that is missing from the Gallery to restore.
