welcome back to my channel my name is emily and i make a lot of videos about salesforce today were going to be going over approval processes and how to create an approval process so first thing i want to do is kind of set up our scenario we are going to go into opportunities and i have specifically set up an opportunity and a new field should be around here somewhere let me check on the edit yes here it is on the edit it hasnt quite made to the page layout yet but we have a field called discount so we are going to be setting up an approval process if the discount is greater than a certain amount then we need to have it be approved by a manager so lets go ahead and actually go into setup and we will start working on this use case again this is also a pretty common use case that ive seen within sales forces that youll have a opportunity that is needed to be discounted and if its more than lets say 20 or 25 then its getting into too big of a discount a
