In Word, select the File Menu, and then select Open. In the Files of type box, select Recover Text from Any File(.). Select the document from which you want to recover the text. Select Open.
The Insert key on your keyboard allows you to replace text as you type.
Go to Home Line and Paragraph Spacing. Select Line Spacing Options, and then choose the options you want under Spacing. To change the spacing before or after the selected paragraphs, select the arrow next to Before or After and enter the amount of space that you want. Select Set as Default.
Ctrl-Shift-Z will reset any formatting changes made to text, such as font, size, bold etc.
Reset the paragraph settings On the Home tab or on the Page Layout tab, click the Paragraph Dialog Box Launcher in the Paragraph group. On the Indents and Spacing tab, change the Indent settings to the indentation settings that you want for the document.
Whether youre moving a paragraph or an entire section, you can do so quickly using a keyboard shortcut: Shift + Alt + Up/Down. When moving a paragraph, this keystroke will move the selected paragraph by paragraphs.
On the Home tab, click the Line and Paragraph Spacing command. Click Add Space Before Paragraph or Remove Space After Paragraph from the drop-down menu. In our example, well select Add Space Before Paragraph. The paragraph spacing will change in the document.
