welcome to this video in this video makes really how you can restore a Google spreadsheet file so for that let us say here I have what one file and then I'm gonna trash it so after I trash it it is it is taking me to the home screen of Google sheets now where that file is gone so that file is in trash and to get it back what you have to do is you have to go to the trash now for that you will have to go to the Google Drive and here is the shortcut link to go to the Google Drive and in that Google Drive you have to go to this trash and over there you will find your file so you can notice that so I am right now on the trash and the file is over here and just right-click on that file and then click on restore button so the file is restored and if you come here you can find that file over here so as you can see the file is restored back so all you have to do is just go to the Google bash in Google Drive and then restore it back thanks for watching this video

Undo. If you just want to change one of the last few edits you have made, you can use the Undo button just as you would with any other word processing program. Click on the undo arrow from the Google docs toolbar, or click Edit and Undo to reverse the last few changes you have made.
How to recover overwritten files on a Windows PC Open Windows Explorer and open the folder that contained the overwritten file. From anywhere within the folder, right-click and select Properties. The Show sheet tabs setting is turned off. First ensure that the Show sheet tabs is enabled. To do this, For all other Excel versions, click File Options Advancedin under Display options for this workbookand then ensure that there is a check in the Show sheet tabs box.
Note that Undo Redo only work for edits you made. If another user is also editing the spreadsheet, you may see changes made to the spreadsheet but not be able to undo them if you did not make the edits yourself.
If you mistakenly deleted your Google Sheet file, you can recover it from the Google Drive trash. If you mistakenly deleted your Google worksheet, but the Google Sheet file that contained it is still present, you can recover it from the Google Sheet revision history.
To make this process even simpler, you can use the keyboard shortcut Control/Command + Shift + T, which will bring up a window of all the tabs you just closed out. Restoring recently closed windows takes just a few clicks. Thats it.
View or revert to earlier versions of Docs, Sheets, and Slides files In Drive, open your file. Click File Version history. See version history. Click a timestamp to see a previous version of the file. Below the timestamp, youll see: (Optional) To revert to this version, click Restore this version.
