sometimes when youre working with OneNote you will delete stuff and youll want to get it back but OneNote behaves a little bit differently than most applications when it comes to recovering deleted items lets take a look well start with the office 365 version and what youll notice here is that if you have a note and you delete that note all you have to do is undo so very straightforward as far as using the undo keys on the keyboard same thing with an entire page if you have a page and you give that page a right-click and delete you can immediately recover it with the undo key on the keyboard the control Z now if you are deleting a section you give it a right-click and you click on delete youre asked if you want to move this to deleted notes now you cant undo right away if you try to youll notice nothing happens what you have to do instead is go to the history tab and open up the notebook recycle bin now from here the steps will look exactly the same as they do on the Windows 10
