When things go wrong, sometimes the best option is to simply revert the file by selecting Revert from the File menu, or by pressing f12. This will undo any changes that youve made, and bring back your file to the way it was when you first opened it (or the last time it was saved).
To recover files from this method, launch photoshop and go to Files. From there select the Open Recent option, here you will see all the recent files youve worked on. Select the file you want to restore and open it and thats it, your unsaved file is now back. Save this file on your device for using it in the future.
You can easily view and revert to previous versions of your Photoshop, Illustrator, docHub Fresco, and docHub Aero cloud documents on the Creative Cloud website. In docHub XD, you cannot revert to an older version of the document.
Select the Horizontal Type tool or the Vertical Type tool (or select the Move tool and double-click the text).Edit type in a type layer Click to set the insertion point. Select one or more characters you want to edit. Enter text as desired.
Go to the Layers panel, Right-click on the layer and, from the pop-up menu that appears, choose Rasterize Type. Thats docHub speak for make this type layer into pixels. Thats itit now treats your type like a photo, and you can erase it with the Eraser tool (E), or delete parts of it, and so on.
When the time comes to import your backups into Photoshop this is how you do it. Choose Edit Presets Export/Import Presets. Select the Import Presets tab at the top. Photoshop will ask you to locate the folder where your presets are. Back in Photoshop, select the preset you want to by double-clicking on it.
How to select text Open the Photoshop document with the text you want to edit. To select the entire text or paragraph on a type layer, select the Move tool in the toolbar and double-click the text you want to select.
In Photoshop, when working with text with the Type tool, you can select a word by double-clicking it. Triple-click to select the entire line. Quadruple-click to select the entire paragraph.
The History Panel is a tool which creates a chronological top-down view of everything you do in your working session in Photoshop. To access the History Panel, choose Window History, or click the History Panel tab if its already activated in your workspace (highlighted in the Featured image above).
