hey guys I hope youre doing great I wanted to share a dilemma that I encountered with word every time I would open a new document I noticed that I didnt have the top margin and I was missing that space on top and at the bottom so if youre experiencing that same problem you will probably find a lot of videos that tell you how you have to go through your files and delete templates well none of that worked for me and I was surprised that word would not have a one-click solution to fix this within the software well it does and Im going to show you how to solve it if youre experiencing the same no space on top and no space at the bottom problem so all you need to do is just go up to the logo click on that and then come here to where it says word options click on that and then click on display and finally checkmark where it says show whitespace between pages and print layout view and its really that simple you click OK and voila you see that beautiful space on top and theres going to

If your document is in Print Layout view and the top and bottom margins appear to be cut off, the option for hiding margins has been switched on. Heres how to switch it off: Point to the top or bottom of a page until the pointer becomes a double-pointed arrow, and then double-click.
To restore the original margin settings, click Margins and then click Custom Margins. Change the margins for Top, Bottom, Left, and Right to 1. Then click the Default button and click Yes.
One or more margins are set outside the printable area of the page. Choose the Fix button to increase the appropriate margins. Click Fix. This increases any margin for the nonprintable region to the minimum permitted setting.
Adjust the text box margins Click the outer edge of the text box to select it. On the Format menu, click Shape. In the left pane of the Format Shape dialog box, click Text Box. Under Internal Margin, adjust the measurements to increase or decrease the distance between the text and the outer border of the text box.
3. Click Margins on the Page Layout tab, then select Custom Margins and use the up or down arrows to select the margins that you want. On some applications, click the Page tab and use the up or down arrows in the Margins field to set the margins for the document.
This happens if you accidentally change the paragraph indentation for the document. Ensure that Indentation, both before and after text, are set to zero and that no special formatting has been set.
