Hey guys thanks for joining me. If you are new here consider subscribing. I want this file format to be in its original state. Although I like to open with the notepad, the file icon is not matching. So lets fix this. Go to Run and search for regedit. Expand this HKEYCURRENTUSER. Go to SOFTWARE. Go to Microsoft. Go down to Windows. Select CurrentVersion. Go to Explorer. Open FileExts. FileExts means File Extensions, okay. Now choose your file extension type. Here in my case, I have .css. So choose .css from here. Click on OpenWithList. Then delete all these except default. Delete this - UserChoice. Next, go to your Task Manager. Click on the Details tab. Right click on the explorer and left click on End task. Click on End Process to confirm. Now if your background screen is turning black, please dont be alarmed. It will be restored, okay. Go to File and click on Run new task. Type here the path of the file explorer as shown here. Click OK. We can see here my

Direct thermal prints, because they are created by heat on a heat-sensitive material, they can easily fade overtime when exposed to sunlight or heat. So, if you are looking for long-lasting prints that stay legible over a few years, then direct thermal is not going to be the right fit for your business.
Receipts are printed on thermal paper. This type of paper is chemically coated to produce characters and images when heat is applied to the surface. The paper itself is susceptible to UV light and heat and when exposed for a prolonged time, characters and images will fade.
Because it uses heat-sensitive materials, direct thermal labels do not have a long shelf-life, usually lasting around six to eight months. They have a tendency to scratch easily, and overexposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures will cause the print to fade faster.
Place the receipts in an area with extremely low exposure to temperature changes, heat, or moisture. Clean and non-oily hands can also reduce the chances of fading from thermal paper receipts.

Receipts are printed on thermal paper. This type of paper is chemically coated to produce characters and images when heat is applied to the surface. The paper itself is susceptible to UV light and heat and when exposed for a prolonged time, characters and images will fade.
During the printing process, the printer sends a pulse of heat onto the paper, causing the acidic developer molecules to donate hydrogen ions to leuco dye molecules which transform chemically, changing from their colorless form to their colored form which is usually black.
Thermal receipts fade, but that doesnt mean your rights do. Unfortunately, the chemical layer remains active after the receipt is produced, so its sensitive to light, heat, friction, abrasives and plastics, and can fade or darken quickly.
