hello I am going to restore this 1936 Pennsylvania license plate some necessary items I had to get were sandpaper and paint primer to start I rinsed down the plate with water next I sprayed some general-purpose cleaner [Music] I then flipped the plate and did the same as front yeah after drying off the plate it was ready to get sanded down after sanding the license plate was ready to have primer applied as soon as the first coat of primer dried I lightly sanded the plate before applying a second coat of primer lets get the back also after applying a light coat of yellow paint which I didnt get on video I followed up with a second coat I ended up having to do a third coat of yellow to give the plate an even and shiny finish at last it was time to paint the letters and numbers I did it by hand using a brush and this was such a pain in the ass let me tell you however it came out great in the end and I was very pleased with the result hope you enjoyed and thank you for watching
