[Music] there are two different ways to reactivate your marinara cartridge which will be explained in this video no matter which option you choose make sure to repeat the steps until the ink pattern on the paper towel looks like the picture on the right all three colors should be clearly visible option one place the wet paper towel on the same press the cartridge onto the paper towels and not three to five times on the carpet afterwards wipe the bottom of the cartridge on the paper towel clean off the printhead please repeat all steps until all three colors are clearly visible option to fill a bowl with warm water and place the dry paper towel next to it put the cartridge into water for about 10 seconds and make sure that only the printhead is under water now take out the cartridge and wipe the bottom of the cartridge on the paper towel to clean off the printhead these repeats until all three colors are clearly visible for more information about our label printers and applicators visi

The ball in the tip can get clogged, or the ink can congeal or coagulate. Especially on a brand new pen the cartridge is filled at the factory from end opposite from the tip. The ballpoint needs to be wet with ink and then it will work going forward. Until it gets wet, the pen will not write.
Ballpoint pens can dry out if exposed to air for too long. They do take much longer to dry out than fountain pens or rollerballs whose water-based inks dry quickly in the nib and tip when exposed to air. It will take hours or sometimes days, but uncapped or un-retracted ballpoint pens will dry out.

Solvents will dissolve the ink and should get everything flowing. Nail polisher remover (with acetone) and rubbing alcohol both work wonders. Simply put a little onto some cotton wool and wrap around the tip for a few minutes.

The first method to resolve a clogged ballpoint pen is to apply more pressure and draw scribbles and vertical lines on a piece of paper. If this method does not work, then dip the very tip of the pen in rubbing alcohol. [just the tip] This will dissolve any dried up or ink that has hardened on the tip.
Once youve got your bowl of hot water, submerge the whole tip of your water-based marker for five minutes. Make sure you have submerged the part of your marker where the felt tip meets the casing of the marker. After about a minute you should notice ink from your marker beginning to bleed into your water.

If some of the ink is dried out in the pen, you might be able to get it going by thinning it a little with rubbing alcohol. Pour some alcohol into a cup or bowl and dip the pen into it, then scribble on a piece of paper to see if you can get it flowing again.
