How to recover a deleted worksheet in Excel Check your Trash folder. Open the Info tab of the File menu. Find the Manage Versions tab. Navigate to the Recover Unsaved Workbooks tab. Find the file name and version of the worksheet you want to restore. Restore the version you want. Turn on auto-save. Create backup files.
