hi everyone welcome to my series that i like to call the fine print where we take a look at some of the more obscure settings or settings that werent documented to on the manual and or could be a little confusing and today were going to look specifically at assigning movie settings to the custom modes on your mode dial on the olympus om1 so first let me give you some quick background on why im making this video because when the olympus om1 was announced or released there were some saying that you could now save movie modes to the custom mode dial and to some extent thats true but when people started getting these into their hands they were finding that they really were not able to save uh movie settings to the mode dial so while its kind of true on one hand its also true on the other hand so thats what were going to take a look at is what movie settings can we actually save to the custom mode dial and which ones we cannot alright now let me show you where the confusion is so w
