Heres how to do so: Open your Gmail app. Tap Menu at the top left of the screen. Find and then tap the Trash folder to recover deleted messages. Select the ones you want to recover, and then tap More at the top right of your device screen. A window will pop up, prompting you to move the selected emails.
Select the Trash folder from the list of folders in the left panel. Select the message you want to restore. Click the More button located in the top toolbar and select the Move to option. Recover your deleted emails to any folder you want.
Recover messages from your bin Important: You cant recover messages that are permanently deleted or messages that have been in the bin for more than 30 days. If you deleted your messages in the last 30 days, you can move them out of your bin.
Recover messages from your trash On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app . At the top left, tap Menu. Trash. On the left of each message you want to recover, tap the senders profile image. At the top right, tap More. Move to. In the Move to menu, choose where you want to move the messages.
Even if you deleted the emails, your organization most likely will have a comprehensive backup strategy in place to recover anything deleted, even from several weeks back. There are multiple ways that email can be retained separate from a backup.
Use new EAC for recovering deleted messages In the new EAC, navigate to Recipients Mailboxes. Select the mailbox for which you want to recover deleted messages, and click on the display name. Under More actions, click Recover deleted items.
Are permanently deleted emails gone forever? In most cases, permanently deleted emails cant be retrieved. But if your company is using Gmail, you can contact your IT administrators. They may be able to restore permanently deleted emails even after the 30-day storage limit thanks to the Google Admin Console.
Deleted messages get moved to a Deleted Items folder, where they are held for 30 days and then automatically purged. Before the 30-day period is over, messages can be recovered or purged manually.
