hi guys welcome to another video in this video im going to show you what to do if youre missing emails in your gmail or if youve permanently deleted an email and you want to get it back im going to be quite thorough because i know if youre missing an important email you really want to try everything you can to get it back ive broken the video up into sections so feel free to skip to any part and if youre quite a techie person then you can skip past all the basics and you might want to head straight to the part where i show you how to contact google so lets get started [Music] before we try to find your missing emails if you think theres any chance that someone might have into your gmail account and deleted your emails that we need to change your password straight away so no one else has any access to your account so if you need to change the password open the gmail website or the gmail app click on the circle in the top right then manage your account then go to security then

Are permanently deleted emails gone forever? In most cases, permanently deleted emails cant be retrieved. But if your company is using Gmail, you can contact your IT administrators. They may be able to restore permanently deleted emails even after the 30-day storage limit thanks to the Google Admin Console.
Heres how to do so: Open your Gmail app. Tap Menu at the top left of the screen. Find and then tap the Trash folder to recover deleted messages. Select the ones you want to recover, and then tap More at the top right of your device screen. A window will pop up, prompting you to move the selected emails.
Recover messages from your trash On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app . At the top left, tap Menu. Trash. On the left of each message you want to recover, tap the senders profile image. At the top right, tap More. Move to. In the Move to menu, choose where you want to move the messages.
Recover messages from your bin Important: You cant recover messages that are permanently deleted or messages that have been in the bin for more than 30 days. If you deleted your messages in the last 30 days, you can move them out of your bin.
Recover a deleted email Tap. in the upper-left corner until you see Mailboxes. Tap , tap the email you want to recover, then tap . Tap Move Message, then choose another mailbox.
On Desktop: Step 1: Open Gmail on your computer and click on More in the left-hand menu. Step 2: Locate and click on the Trash folder; this is where you can find all your deleted emails. Step 3: Select the emails you wish to recover. Step 4: Click on Move to in the menu.
When you accidentally delete an email message from your mail, you can recover those items if theyre still in your Deleted Items or Junk Email folder, and in some cases you can even recover items after the Deleted Items folder is emptied.
Most email service providers offer account recovery options such as resetting passwords or answering security questions. Look for these options on the sign-in page of your email service providers website and follow the prompts provided.
