Most email service providers offer account recovery options such as resetting passwords or answering security questions. Look for these options on the sign-in page of your email service providers website and follow the prompts provided.
Heres how to do so: Open your Gmail app. Tap Menu at the top left of the screen. Find and then tap the Trash folder to recover deleted messages. Select the ones you want to recover, and then tap More at the top right of your device screen. A window will pop up, prompting you to move the selected emails.
Recover messages from your trash On your computer, go to Gmail. On the left, click More. Trash. On the left of each message you want to recover, check the box. At the top, click Move to . In the Move to menu, choose where you want to move the messages.
Usually when you delete an email it goes into the Trash folder. Some systems and organisations leave it there to 30 days before its permanently deleted (so you can recover it if the deletion was a mistake), a few leave it up to you to permanently delete anything in Trash.
Recover messages from your bin Important: You cant recover messages that are permanently deleted or messages that have been in the bin for more than 30 days. If you deleted your messages in the last 30 days, you can move them out of your bin.
On Desktop: Step 1: Open Gmail on your computer and click on More in the left-hand menu. Step 2: Locate and click on the Trash folder; this is where you can find all your deleted emails. Step 3: Select the emails you wish to recover. Step 4: Click on Move to in the menu.
For up to 30 days after deleting, users can recover their own messages from the Trash by following the steps in Recover deleted Gmail messages. After 30 days, messages are permanently deleted from the Trash, and cant be restored from the Trash by users or administrators.
