hey everybody its Jessica from fried technology and I wanted to share something with you today that actually our team did not know and we learned today and just like most times we learned because we needed to learn we had a need for something and we found a solution so the scenario is we have a calendar that we have shared with our team and everybody on the team can add events to the calendar which also means everyone on the team can delete things from the calendar and so in this scenario someone went through and deleted a whole bunch of events they probably thought they were deleting them from their own calendar not from the group calendar but in the meantime it ended up with a calendar full of empty holes and we really really needed those events back now we could have gone back and added the events but it would have taken us so much time and so we did a little research because of course out of necessity we needed an answer so this is what we found out if you accidentally delete even

We can use the DMV sys. dm_db_index_usage_stats to give different index operations, and the time each operation was last performed. It works on Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and on-premise SQL Server. Note: This query returns data since the last SQL Server restart.
Currently in Azure SQL DB, you can view the database restore progress either using Portal or using T-SQL by querying a DMV called sys....dm_operations_status DMV has a column called percent_complete which displays 3 states: 0 = Operation not started. 50 = Operation in progress. 100 = Operation complete.
