Either you can cretae a calendar table and use that date column , if you want to use dateadd. Else, as suggested above use New column = Tavble[ColName1]+30.
Open the Power BI desktop and load the table data into it, and select the Home - Transform data option. Now select the date column that you want to format, In the Power Query editor, select Add column - Custom column option.
DAX TODAY function is useful when you need to have the current date displayed on a workbook, regardless of when you open the workbook. It is also useful for calculating intervals. DAX functions - TODAY and NOW both return the current date.
When you mark a table as a date table, Power BI asks which column contains the dates of the calendar. This is required because the engine adds REMOVEFILTERS every time you apply a filter on that specific column. Once you mark the Date table as a date table, the results become correct again.
Drag down the column to select the dates you want to sort. Click Home tab arrow under Sort Filter, and then click Sort Oldest to Newest, or Sort Newest to Oldest.
The default long date format is dddd, mmmm d, yyyy .Custom date/time format examples. FormatResult (en-US)Result (de-DE)Year yyyyYear 2020Year 2020yyyy \Qq2020 Q22020 Q2dd/mm/yyyy25/06/202025.06.2020mm/dd/yyyy06/25/202006.25.202024 more rows

Date and datetime can also be specified as a literal in the format dtYYYY-MM-DD , dtYYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss , or dtYYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss . When specified as a literal, using the DATE function in the expression is not necessary. To learn more, see DAX Syntax | Date and time.
