foreign welcome back to another video today I am going to do something a little different I am going to show you how to uh restore dates on Buffalo nickels actually theyll work for any nickel Jefferson nickel or uh Liberty V nickel as well but mainly used on Buffalo nickels because some of the earlier dates they uh the dates would wear off I got me a roll of Buffalo nickels uh these are some I purchased off eBay theyre from a seller that told me that or at least in the listing said that everyone would be either a d or S mint mark thats going to be an S mint mark right there uh for example that ones going to be looks like that is going to be a D mint mark right there if you can see it down there all right and all of these are dateless so in order to restore the date it is very simple let me just move these off to the side a little bit you need to get what they call ferric acid or better known as if you can see it up there nicotate you can get this at u
