every time you save a document pages saves it as a new version as a result of it you can browse earlier versions save a copy of it or restore a document to an earlier version you can also copy and paste text and objects from these earlier versions to the current one lets see how we can do all of that [Music] to restore a previous version of a document you have to open it first we can use the same document as in the previous video and now choose revert from the file menu and here select browse all versions once you press it the window refreshes to show a thumbnail of the current version on the left and a stack of thumbnails of the previous versions on the right also a vertical timeline appears on the right side of the screen to view earlier versions click the sticks along the timeline or click the arrows next to the stack of document thumbnails after you find the one you need click on the thumbnail to view the version full size if you want to restore this version click restore below i

On Pages page, click the Actions context menu. for the respective page and select Revision History. In page content editing mode, in the toolbar, click Revision History.
Revert to your last opened or last saved version With the current version of your document open, choose File > Revert To (from the File menu at the top of your screen), then choose one of the following (you may not see all of these options): ... Click Restore or Done.
You can Control+click or right+click on this field to get a context menu. Then select Edit Date & Time... from this menu. This lets you set the format for that date, and also you can check a box so it automatically updates the date. You can force an update with a button there too.
Move the pointer over a document or folder, click the More button on the thumbnail, then choose Recover. The selected item moves back to its former location in the document manager (under Browse and Recents). To recover all recently deleted items at once, click Recover All at the top of the document manager.
