Restore from Recycle Bin To see how to find deleted word documents in Recycle Bin, follow these steps: Open the Recycle Bin on the desktop. Look for the deleted Word files in the Recycle Bin. Select the files from the given list if it is there, right-click and then restore.
Within Microsoft Word, go to File / Manage Document and click on the File tab. Now select Document Management, then Recover Unsaved Documents. In the new window, you will see a list of all unsaved Word documents. Select the documents you are interested in and click Open.
Open the File tab in MS Word. Go to Manage Document and select Recover Unsaved Documents . If youve lost your file recently, it should appear in the dialogue box. Now, open your recovered Word document and click the Save As button.
Right-click the file or folder, and then select Restore previous versions. Youll see a list of available previous versions of the file or folder. The list will include files saved on a backup (if youre using Windows Backup to back up your files) as well as restore points, if both types are available.
