Right-click the file or folder, and then select Restore previous versions. Youll see a list of available previous versions of the file or folder. The list will include files saved on a backup (if youre using Windows Backup to back up your files) as well as restore points, if both types are available.
Data restore is the process of copying backup data from secondary storage and restoring it to its original location or a new location. A restore is performed to return data that has been lost, stolen or damaged to its original condition or to move data to a new location.
If youve logged into Canva and you cant find your designs, you mightve logged into the wrong account. This usually happens if youve signed up using different email addresses (e.g. personal vs. work emails) or through social media (e.g. Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.).
Canva automatically saves designs as you work. If your edits dont automatically save, you can also manually save them. If you see the save icon on the status bar, this means your changes have been saved. If your edits dont automatically save, you can manually do so by clicking on File then Save from the status bar.
In the search box on the taskbar, type restore files, and then select Restore your files with File History. Look for the file you need, then use the arrows to see all its versions. When you find the version you want, select Restore to save it in its original location.
If the changes you made on your design are not saving, it might be due to an outdated browser or app version, intermittent internet connection, or ongoing site issues. If youre trying to save a copy of your design to your device, see I cant download my design or video instead.
You can recover deleted designs by going to Trash. Note that all deleted designs in Trash will be permanently deleted after 30 days. If youve deleted a design and more than 30 days have passed, it cant be recovered.
Click the Designs, Images, or Videos tab, depending on what you want to recover or permanently delete. Hover your cursor over the design or file you want to recover or permanently delete. Click on that appears on the design or file thumbnail. To recover, click Restore.
