But apparently, permanently deleting all your files and other important data even in the Recycle Bin is not enough. It is not technically deleted. Although the operating system cant find it anymore, a copy of it is still accessible through your hard drive.
As an administrator, you can recover deleted items from Google Drive within 25 days after a user empties their trash. After that period, Google purges the data from its systems. Depending on the amount of data that you want to restore, it might take several days for the data to reappear in the users account.
When you delete any file or folder in your Google Drive, it is moved to the trash folder. The deleted file stays in trash for 30 days and then it is permanently deleted. You can right-click the deleted file in the trash bin and select Restore to undelete the file.
Login into your Google Account. Go to Google Drive, open a document with Google Docs. Go to FileVersion historySee version history. Find the version you want to restore, click on the three dots button and choose Restore this version.
Recover Permanently Deleted Files from an Older Backup Open the Start menu. Type backup and hit Enter on your keyboard. Select the Go to Backup and Restore (Windows 7) option under Looking for an older backup? Click on the Select another backup to restore files from option and choose your backup.
