Hi. I am Karina Gould, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development. Many community service organizations have been struggling to survive through the COVID-19 pandemic, at a time when people need their services more than ever. Thats why the Government of Canada is investing $400 million to help charities and non-profits acquire the tools they need to adapt and modernize. I am happy to announce today that the application process for the Community Services Recovery Fund is now open. The Funds goal is to help community service organizations across Canada, such as charities, non-profits and Indigenous governing bodies, to adapt and modernize. The Government of Canada selected three National Funders to manage and distribute the funding. The Application process is open January 6 to February 21, 2023. Applications will be assessed and approved by three National Funders: the Canadian Red Cross; the Community Foundations of Canada; and United Way Centraide Canada. Types of projects
