This issue is usually caused by the way youve configured your display settings. So, to resolve it, you could start by enabling the show desktop background image option. Here are the steps for enabling the desktop wallpaper: Press Win + I to open the System Settings.
Check Ease of Access Settings Open the Settings window and select Ease of Access. Select the Display tab. Scroll to the Simplify and personalize Windows section and switch on the Show desktop background image switch.
This issue is usually caused by the way youve configured your display settings. So, to resolve it, you could start by enabling the show desktop background image option. Here are the steps for enabling the desktop wallpaper: Press Win + I to open the System Settings.
Switch to the Colors tab using the menu in the left-side pane. Scroll down until you see the Choose your default app mode heading. Here, select Dark to switch into dark mode. This will immediately change not only the File Explorer, but any application that supports dark mode.
Turn on color inversion Open your devices Settings app . Select Accessibility. Under Color and motion, select Color inversion. Turn on Use color inversion.
Step 1: Right-click an empty area on the desktop and select Personalize. Step 2: Click Background to open the Settings window. Step 3: Select Picture under the Background section. Step 4: Click Browse under Choose your picture Navigate to the path on your PC to find your previously saved background.
Right click your desktop and select Personalize and then go to Colors and change the appearance to Custom and change the Choose your default Windows mode to Light and Choose your default app mode to Dark. Note that this one will change all of the UWP apps including Explorer but not the UI.
1. Enable Show Windows Background Option. This is for Windows 10 users. Press Windows + I to open Settings and go to Ease of Access More Options and make sure that Show Windows Background or Show desktop background image option is turned on or checked.
