hi snapshot tech tips i need to reset my windows login passwords but my bootable c drive was encrypted so it was impossible to get into os drive please help press and hold down the shift key and then immediately click on restart okay you can release the shift key now before you get into choose an option it will ask you to enter your bitlocker recovery key if you dont remember it doesnt matter click on skip this drive click on troubleshoot and then next click on advanced options click on command prompt command prompt window being popup ask to enter the recovery key where is it [Music] yes i do remember my bit locker user passwords but i didnt remember my bit locker recovery key ignore to enter the recovery key it will be ok [Music] click on skip this drive then the command prompt window being pop-up you use diskpart command to find out which os drive was encrypted in the command line you type list volume in this case d drive is your bootable drive you type exit to escape because you
