How do I prepare for the LSAT? Familiarize yourself with the test. Get familiar with the types of questions on the LSAT. Take a timed LSAT practice exam. Free practice exams are available for free from LSAC here. Develop a study plan. Research the various preparation courses available.
Two months is the optimal LSAT prep schedule for many students. While you can make great score improvements with one intense month of study, practice, and review, most expert LSAT faculty will recommend a longer schedule if one is possible for you.
LSAT scores range from 120 to 180. A student scoring 120 is in the 0 percentile because the student scored better than 0% of test-takers. A student scoring a 180 is in the 99.9 percentile because the student scored better than 99.9% of test-takers.
For most students, a three-month period of preparation (of approximately 20 hours per week) is a great goal. This is, of course, an estimate; most students are not all students. To find out how much LSAT prep time youre likely to need, we recommend taking a practice LSAT to get a baseline score.

170 score: Scoring a 170 on the LSAT is almost always considered a good score that means you are in the 2-3% of test-takers. Still, it wont guarantee you admission at a top law school. Other parts of your application are still a factor.
Taking previously administered LSATs is the best way to prepare for test day. You can get started with the free Official LSAT PrepTests available in your LawHub account. However, most test takers will benefit from taking additional practice tests under actual, timed conditions.
