In the second session of the Empowering Caregivers series for 2021, Allison, the Associate Director of Social Work at Penn Memory Center, introduces Andrew Morton. Morton, an award-winning playwright and theater maker, focuses on creating socially engaged theater for vulnerable populations. His work has been showcased both nationally and internationally. Originally from England, he holds a Master of Arts in Community Arts from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and currently resides in Detroit. In addition to his role with TimeSlips, an organization he will discuss in detail, he works as a teaching artist and facilitator with various social services and arts organizations. He was also honored as a 2020 Kresge Artist Fellow.
