in this short video I want to take a look at how to modify footnote styles so in order to do this we need to have a footnote so Im going to click at the end of one of these paragraphs and Im going to go to the references tab and insert my footnote Im going to type out a footnote here it doesnt really matter what we type so I now have my footnote and its typed out at the bottom here what I want to do is I want to modify this style so you want to make sure that your footnote is selected so Im going to take and select text here and left footnote and were gonna go to the Home tab where my styles are kept now if you look here in Styles you will see that you do not see footnote text up here heres how we can solve this problem if you click the drop-down in the list of styles what we can do is we can click on the option that says apply style what thats going to do is it will take whatever style is currently in use and show that here thats the footnote text style what I want to do is
