My name is Darren Howard and Im a workers compensation attorney with Dummit Fradin. Lets discuss what happens in North Carolina if your employer does not report your on-the-job injury. When somebody asks me about the claims process in North Carolina, I explain to them that when youre injured two things need to happen from the standpoint of the employer. Number one, the employer needs to report that injury specifically to the North Carolina Industrial Commission. Number two, and perhaps just as importantly, they need to report that injury to the workers comp insurance company. Now if the employer fails to do that, what does that mean for the injured employee? Well, obviously, its going to delay the process. And what that means further is medical treatment may be delayed which is going to help somebody get back to their job and earn an income. But if they have to undergo extensive medical treatment, then it may delay that income replacement component. And so that could be very harmf

To set up a choice list for a Category field: Navigate to Incident Create New. Right-click the Category label and select Personalize Choices. In the new item field, add [newitem] and press Enter. Click Save. To view, open the Category choice list and scroll down to the [newitem] created.
