Replace text or numbers with the Find Replace Press Ctrl+H or go to Home Find Select Replace. In Find what, type the text or numbers you want to find. You can further define your search: Within: To search for data in a worksheet or in an entire workbook, select Sheet or Workbook.
Using Ctrl + H to find and replace the text in question, it skips over anything in a text box.
On the Home tab, in the Editing group, choose Replace. In the Find what box, enter the text you want to find and replace. In the Replace with box, enter the text you want to use as the replacement. To search for the next occurrence of the text, choose Find Next.
To find and replace text in Word, click the Home tab in the Ribbon. Then click the Replace button in the Editing button group. Doing this then opens the Find and Replace dialog box and shows its Replace tab. Type the text to find into the Find what: field on this tab.
Using Ctrl + H to find and replace the text in question, it skips over anything in a text box.
Click File Options Display, and then under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the Hidden text check box. Click File Options Advanced, and then under Show document content, select the Show drawings and text boxes on screen check box.
On the Home tab, in the Find group, click Find, or press CTRL+F. Keyboard shortcut Press CTRL+F. The Find and Replace dialog box appears.
Try it! Select Replace or press Ctrl + H. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for. Select Find Next to see where the text appears in your file. In the Replace with box, type the text you want. Select Replace to change the text or select Replace All to change all instances of this text in your file.
