In this video, the tutorial demonstrates how to use the "Find and Replace" feature in Microsoft Word. This tool is particularly useful for updating recurring words or phrases in a document, such as a template employee handbook. The presenter shows how to replace a placeholder for the company name that appears in multiple places throughout the document. To do this, they copy the placeholder text (including brackets) using Ctrl+C, then navigate to the "Replace" option under the Home ribbon in the editing area. After pasting the text using Ctrl+V, they notice an unwanted space and backspace to remove it before proceeding with the replacement.
