Find and Replace helps you to find words or formats in a document and can let you replace all instances of a word or format. This is particularly handy in long documents. To use Find and Replace, use the shortcut Ctrl+H or navigate to Editing in the Home tab of the ribbon, then choose Replace.
The Microsoft Word Find and Replace tool is a tool that lets you quickly locate and replace characters such as a word or phrase, spaces and paragraphs, and punctuation marks.
Find and replace text Go to Home Replace. Enter the word or phrase you want to replace in Find what. Enter your new text in Replace with. Choose Replace All to change all occurrences of the word or phrase. To specify only upper or lowercase in your search, select More Match case.
Find and replace basic text Select the magnifying glass, and then select Replace. In the Replace With box, type the replacement text. Select Replace All or Replace. Tips: You can also open the basic Find and Replace pane with the keyboard shortcut CONTROL + H.
Format text in a shape Open the diagram for editing. Double-click the shape with the text that you want to format. By default all the text is selected. Select Home and do the following: To change the font, select from Font Name or Font Size . To stop formatting, click outside of the shape or press Esc.
