Go to File Options Proofing, and select AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoCorrect tab, select the Replace text as you type check box, if its not already checked. Under Replace, type the characters that you want to trigger the automatic text. The text that you selected in your document should appear under With.
To replace a DOM element with the specified HTML or DOM elements using jQuery, use the replaceWith() method. The replaceWith (content) method replaces all matched elements with the specified HTML or DOM elements. This returns the JQuery element that was just replaced, which has been removed from the DOM.
To replace one string with another string using Java Regular Expressions, we need to use the replaceAll() method. The replaceAll() method returns a String replacing all the character sequence matching the regular expression and String after replacement.
You can also open the basic Find and Replace pane with the keyboard shortcut CONTROL + H. When you replace text, its a good idea to select Replace instead of Replace All.
The JavaScript replace() method is used to replace any occurrence of a character in a string or the entire string. It searches for a string corresponding to either a particular value or regular expression and returns a new string with the modified values.
To replace text in a JavaScript string the replace() function is used. The replace() function takes two arguments, the substring to be replaced and the new string that will take its place. Regex(p) can also be used to replace text in a string.
Simple find and replace of text in HTML Select some text in your HTML Editor (1) and click Add to Find button (2). Word to HTML will automatically add selected text into find input field (3). Then add replacement text (4) or leave it empty if you want to delete given text occurrences from HTML. Click Add button (5).
