Use the drop-down menus to complete the steps for using the Find and Replace feature. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click Find and Select, and on the drop-down list click Replace. In the dialog box, click the Options button, and choose the items to Find and Replace. Click Replace or Replace All.
Go to Home Replace. Enter the word or phrase you want to replace in Find what. Enter your new text in Replace with. Choose Replace All to change all occurrences of the word or phrase.
Try it! Select Replace or press Ctrl + H. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for. Select Find Next to see where the text appears in your file. In the Replace with box, type the text you want. Select Replace to change the text or select Replace All to change all instances of this text in your file.
Find and replace text Go to Home Replace. Enter the word or phrase you want to replace in Find what. Enter your new text in Replace with. Choose Replace All to change all occurrences of the word or phrase. To specify only upper or lowercase in your search, select More Match case.
To find and change specific text attributes, characters, or styles, select Edit Find/Change. Select Type Find/Replace Font. Select one or more font names from the Fonts In Document list. Follow any of these options: Select the new font you want to use from the Replace With list, and follow any of these options:
Select Replace or press Ctrl + H. Note: This experience is similar across the Office apps, but this example applies to Word.
Keyboard shortcut Press CTRL+F. The Find and Replace dialog box appears. To find data, in the Find and Replace dialog box, click the Find tab. To run a find-and-replace operation, click the Replace tab.
When you need to find and replace text in a text box in Excel, you can use the Find and Replace dialog box to do so. To open the Find and Replace dialog box, click the Home tab, then click Find Select in the Editing group, and then click Find. Or, you can press Ctrl+F on your keyboard.
