What information needs to be on a self-employed invoice template? A unique invoice number. Your businesss name, address, and contact details. Your customers name and address. The invoice date. How do I change the template on invoices Click the Gear icon. Under Your Company, click Custom Form Styles. To create a new template, click the New style button in the upper right-hand corner. Select Invoice. Go to the Design tab to edit the template name, logo, color, font, and margins.
How to edit an invoice Go to Sales and select Invoices (Take me there). Scroll to the invoice you wish to edit and click on it to open it up. Make the necessary changes. Click Save and Close (or Save and Send).
Also remember when posting an invoice it is a legal document that you cannot (and should not) change even though it is something as simple as an address.
So in Quickbooks Self Employed when you are logged into your account, if you click on invoices tab on the left hand side click on create invoice on the right hand side at the bottom of the page, in the middle you will see edit work info, if you click this and then edit your address there and then click on save.
