The Tag Retention field controls how many overwrites of the same tag are saved in Artifactory. Tag overwriting occurs when you upload a new revision of a tag name that already exists in your repository: for instance, latest.
To edit an existing retention label policy (the policy type is Publish), select it, and then select the Edit option to start the Edit retention policy configuration.
Step 1: Create Retention Labels From Microsoft 365 App Launcher, click Compliance. Under Data lifecycle management, click Microsoft 365. Click on the Labels Tab. Click Create a label. Give the Label the name. On the next screen, you can define label settings. On the next screen, we will define the Retention Period.
Use the New-RetentionPolicyTag cmdlet to create a retention tag. Different options available in the cmdlet allow you to create different types of retention tags. Use the Type parameter to create a DPT (value of All), RPT (specify a default folder type, such as Inbox) or a personal tag (value of Personal).
In the navigation menu, go to Data lifecycle management Exchange (legacy), select the MRM Retention tags tab, and click New tag a new retention tag wizard will open.
On the Settings page, under Permissions and Management, select Apply label to items in this list or library. On the Apply Label page, select the drop-down box, then select the label that you want to apply. The label you select will be automatically applied to all new files added to the document library beginning now.
Log into the Office 365 ECP, , with an account that has departmental admin privileges. Click on Recipients and search for your user. Open the properties of your user. Click on the Mailbox Features tab on the left. Select the Retention Policy drop down.
As you can see, retention tags are used to apply retention settings to folders and individual items such as email messages and voice mail. These settings specify how long a message remains in a mailbox and the action to take when the message docHubes the specified retention age.
