Well this is a question that we get asked all the time and the answer is sometimes you can and sometimes you cant. You can change a power of attorney if you are competent and you are the one that created the power of attorney then you can change it. You can change a power attorney at any time you can revoke a power of attorney etc There are some complications though that you should be aware of in changing the power of attorney. In Wisconsin a power of attorney document whether its a copy of the actual document or the actual document itself is good just about anywhere. The following information is required: Valid Georgias drivers license or ID card. Visit your County Tag Office. Proof of Ownership. Form MV-1 Title/Tag Application (this form can be printed at home or by the County Tag Office and will require your signature) Proof of insurance, by one of the following:
(1) Registrants, whose license plate or validation decals have been mutilated, lost, or stolen, may receive a replacement license plate or decal from the license issuing official upon: (a) Completion of Form MVR 40-12-265-1, Application for Replacement Motor Vehicle Tag and/or Decal.
If the registration date is missed, it is unwise to drive your vehicle until the new registration sticker is displayed on your license plate.
Section 709.2105(2), Florida Statutes, states: A power of attorney must be signed by the principal and by two subscribing witnesses and be acknowledged by the principal before a notary public or as otherwise provided in s. 695.03.
A fee of $8.00 will be charged for a replacement license plate (tag) or decal. This fee may be waived if the original tag or decal was lost in the mail and a replacement request is submitted within ninety (90) days of initial tag/decal issuance date in addition to a T-200 and copy of a police report.
Replacement license plates and year decals are $2.00 each.
Visit your County Tag Office The following information is required: Completed Form MV-7 Application for a Replacement License Plate and/or Renewal Decal. Copy of the police report (required when applying for a replacement license plate). Mutilated license plate and/or decal, if applicable.
Online tag renewals may be completed through the Georgia Department of Revenue website. There is a service fee for credit card payments. Camden County Tax Commissioners Office does not charge, collect, or retain any portion of this fee. This fee is charges by the third party credit card vendor.
